Communication Director

JOB PURPOSE

As an embedded team leader, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing clients, projects and campaigns ensuring their successful execution and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing strategies, excellent account leadership & project management skills, and exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

CLIENT STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and target audience.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to clients, ensuring their marketing efforts are optimized and aligned with industry best practices.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT: 

  • Lead and inspire a team of account managers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring the team's tasks are executed efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Mentor, train and guide team members, promoting their professional growth and development.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: 

  • Collaborate closely with the strategy department, creative teams, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies with creative execution.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: 

  • Oversee account budgets, ensuring that campaigns and SOWs are delivered within the agreed-upon financial parameters.
  • Monitor and manage account profitability, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: 

  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and expanding agency services to drive organic growth.

INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge strategic recommendations to clients.

NEW BUSINESS: 

  • Help qualify new business opportunities as needed.
  • Help drive and support new business pursuits including everything from proposals to pitches.

EXPRERIENCE, EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).MBA is a plus 
  • Proven experience between 9 to 12 years in an account management or strategy role within a marketing agency or related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that deliver tangible results for clients.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of marketing, branding, and communication principles.
  • Client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.

Sr.Communication Manager

JOB PURPOSE

 

As an embedded team member, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing clients, projects and campaigns ensuring their successful execution and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing strategies, excellent account &  project management skills, and exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT: 

 

  • Manage clients as the main point of contact ensuring effective briefings, seamless operations, and time management. 
  • Engage with clients and continue ongoing relationship development. Identify opportunities for account growth. 
  • Collaboration: Act as a main player Internally within the agency to ensure implementation of projects and strategies, providing guidance and direction throughout the process.
  • Utilize research and data analysis to gain deep insights into client’s consumer behaviour and preferences, Be inline with concerned departments to deliver objectives.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive communication strategies that align with clients' objectives, target audiences, and market trends.
  • Drive brainstorming sessions and workshops to come up with innovative ideas and new concepts.
  • Maximize team output with high quality outcomes. 
  • Delegate team members and team management.
  • Mentor team members and develop their skillset in accordance with their individual goals, objectives and career path.


CLIENT PROFITABILITY: 
 

  • Ensure that assigned revenue targets with assigned clients are achieved, with a focus on securing on long-term financial commitments.
  • Ensure SOWs are accurate and defendable in terms of managing scope and deliverables against commercial.

NEW BUSINESS: 
 

  • Help qualify new business opportunities as needed.
  • Help drive and support new business pursuits including everything from proposals to pitche

 

 

EXPRERIENCE, EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT
 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field 
  • 7 to 9  years as a Account Manager/, or Marketing Manager, preferably within a marketing agency environment
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and project management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems creatively
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is essential
  • High familiarity with analytics platforms and tools. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
